WHO WE ARE
Hope and Faith Chapel has stood the test of time! While we recently celebrated fifteen years, we started with humble beginnings. Starting from Tibbals House to having our own church building. It all began with a modest congregation in Erie, Pennsylvania. We later acquired a house with land and a shed, which we renovated. We diligently used the land as a community garden and annually donated vegetables to our local mission. Currently, we reside at 2313 Bird Drive, which was another blessing from the Lord.
Last year and this year, our church visited the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. We also continued our annual clothing giveaways and involvement in the Wesleyville Interfaith Food Pantry, the Erie City Mission Food Drive, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Blessing Closet. Our services included counseling, wedding, and funeral services throughout the year. We renovated the chapel's sanctuary floor, bathrooms, storage room, and Youth Multi-Purpose Room.
Our church officers attended the Wesleyville Interfaith Clergy Alliance Group. Our wellness ministry thrived, and we provided extensive Christian education resources, including Searching the Scriptures Bible Study and MTIE. We attended denominational trainings via teleconference and Zoom platform. Our regular services were held via teleconference and access to the chapel proper. We also participated in our annual church picnic and anniversary and remained a vibrant faith community in our area. We look forward to providing even more ministry services in the coming year.
